Storing sex toys

Many toys are made from materials that can react with each other, so we'd recommend always storing your sex toys separately.

Materials such as latex, rubber, jelly, PVC and silicone can get damaged or misshapen when left touching each other for a long time. So store your toys apart, for example in a separate pouch or box.

We offer special toy bags for storing your toys safely and discreetly.

Also, store your toys:

• In a cool, dry place
• Away from heat sources
• Out of direct sunlight

Heat and sunlight can damage the material.

Do your toys run on batteries? Take them out after use to prevent leakage and extend the life of your toy.

Cleaning sex toys

Always clean your toy before and after use. Thorough cleaning is important for removing bacteria and keeping the material in good condition.

Preferably use a dedicated toy cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the toy and clean it with a dry, clean cloth. Rinse with water if needed, and dry thoroughly.

Non-porous glass toys with no electronic parts can also be cleaned in the dishwasher, without any dishwasher tablet.

Lubricant for sex toys

There are several types of lubricant available. Choosing the right lubricant matters both for comfort and for keeping your toy in good condition.

For anal toys, such as butt plugs and anal vibrators, a dedicated anal lubricant is recommended. It has a thicker texture, giving extra comfort.

For silicone toys, we always recommend a water-based lubricant. Don't use silicone lubricant with silicone toys, as this can damage the material.

Toys made from glass, aluminium or stainless steel can, however, be combined with silicone lubricant.
