Here are a few handy tips to help you clean your toy safely and hygienically.

Cleaning with toy cleaner

Always clean your toy before and after use with a dedicated toy cleaner. This ensures optimal hygiene and helps keep the material looking good for longer.

Spray the toy cleaner onto the toy and spread it over the surface with a clean cloth. Leave it to work for about a minute, then rinse the toy thoroughly under lukewarm water. Make sure no residue is left behind. Then dry the toy with a clean, dry cloth.

Cleaning with an antibacterial wipe

An antibacterial wipe is a quick and practical way to clean your toy. This works with almost all materials.

Wipe the toy thoroughly clean with the wipe, then rinse it briefly with lukewarm water. Dry the toy well with a dry cloth or paper towel.

Boiling

Some toys can be boiled to kill bacteria. Place the toy in a pan of boiling water and let it boil for three to five minutes.

Make sure the toy doesn't touch the bottom of the pan, to avoid damage.

Extra care is needed with glass toys. Don't expose glass products to high temperatures for too long — leave a glass toy in boiling water for no longer than one minute.
